The training "Partnership between family and school" is specially designed for teachers, school psychologists and pedagogical advisors from primary and secondary schools. Good interaction with the parent is essential - finding a common language and smoothing out emerging differences. Strategies for involving parents will be discussed: informing, negotiating, etc.;

The focus is on building trust, partnership relationships between teachers, families and community members. During the training, analysis and adaptation of good practices from the country and the world are carried out (parent meetings, participation in school life, partnership in the education of values). Trainees will learn how to recognize and address the needs of the family.

To respectfully build understanding, based on social and cultural diversity, through acceptance of the philosophy of partnership, shared rights and responsibilities.

School mediation is the basis for reducing aggression in educational institutions and developing a culture of dialogue.

In this way, the aim is to:

Upgrading techniques for involving parents in school life, through informing and negotiating parental participation

Enriching good practices for fruitful and effective dialogue with parents

Confidence in resolving disputes with parents

Mastery and confidence in practicing within the mediation structure

Skills for practicing mediation in already existing conflicts in parent-school relationships

A practical workshop is also planned, where real cases and simulation games will be discussed, for the acquisition of the listed practical skills. Participants who successfully pass the final test and complete the qualification course will receive a certificate and 1 qualification credit.
